Tim Hill is an ordained bishop in the Church of God and currently serves as the general overseer. He is also a published author and gospel songwriter. He travels extensively across the United States and around the world, ministering at major denominational and interdenominational conventions, camp meetings, and conferences. He and his wife, Paula, live in Cleveland, Tennessee, and have three daughters and two grandchildren.

A must read! This book delivers tons of biblically based content on seeing God's favor in your life. I read Dr. Hills book "The Amos Paradigm" in which this book "The Speed of Favor" discusses and placed the original principles into my life. I watched as my personal and family's life were directly affected by the principles in this book. This book is a must read if your seeking an accelerated pace to God's favor in your life. It's not a book about prosperity, it's about seeing God's favor in every area of your life. The book is divided into four parts in which I found the section on "The road to recovery and restoration" especially insightful. There's nothing made up in this book, its all biblically based. The one thing I realized was in order to receive the type of favor that Hill writes about, you must be willing to accept it into your life. If you let it, this book will be life changing and your life will forever be transformed in the favor of God.
Hills book is a treaty on how God's hand is ever present in our lives. I recognize that many things in our lives are not as important as we make them out to be. However, the favor of God in our lives should not be optional. Hill does a great job illustrating through sound Biblical hermeneutics that God is indeed the conductor in our lives that weaves together a beautiful sound that is pleasing and smoothing on the ears.In his book The Speed of Favor, the author takes us through a journey that embarks upon isolation, fear, abandonment, hurt, and many other issues that we try so hard to avoid. We try to avoid these instances or even go around them. Hills book suggest an alternative solution, one that allows us to go through those challenges while coming out on the other side with greater hope, zeal, and ultimately greater faith. No task is too great when we can operate under the favor of God that Hill discusses about in Amos 9:13.This is a great read that will challenge, inspire, and cause you to reflect on the greatness of God. I can say there is no other book quite like it and if you are looking for something Biblically sound that will both challenge and encourage, then look no further than The Speed of Favor by Tim Hill.
Hill delivers a very readable, inspirational book on the principles from Amos 9:13. The Speed of Favor, however, deals not only with the Amos passage, but examines many biblical expressions of divine favor in the lives of the heroes of the faith with application for the life of every believer. Additionally, one can find many "mini" sermon outlines throughout the work. A great read!
