My Daugther loves these books. She is not the best reader, but she really loves getting to chose her own story. I am so glad we found these books!
Bought these as a Christmas gift for our kids. Classic concept that continues to translate well to new generations.Easy enough reading material for anyone from grades 3-6. Oddly, one of our girls said it was a bit scary, which I thought was actually a good thing.

This is the second set in the series given. My grandson loved the first set for his b-day, and I know he'll love this second set for Christmas.
perfect set of books to get kids off of the game systems and get them reading
I absolutely LOVED these books as a kid! My one star review is because of the poor quality of the binding. As a third grade teacher, I wanted to share my love for these books, but after one or two readings by my kids, pages were falling out all over the place, and the binding had split in several places on all the books. I treasure my classroom books, and my students are taught how to handle books appropriately, so it wasn't a case of user error- especially when it happened to every book in this set (and the other set I ordered). I tried to tape the pages, but it was a lost cause. I'm so disappointed, not to mention frustrated because I spend my OWN money on my classroom library.
My daughter loves these and she is an extremely proficient reader at 6 years old. She does find some too scary but they are way better then the new ones that are all fluff with no risk. The kids like to pick a path and read one each night. We mark paths chosen so we can pick a different route the next time.
kids zipped thru these in days! Great value and nothing like seeing kids read...(mine are 7y and 8y)
