A very hot read - the chemistry between the Jesse and Katie is off the charts. I really liked that even though their relationship starts out as a ruse - Jesse doesn't act like a typical rockstar manwhore, his commitment to Katie is pretty obvious from the start . - I understand Katie's reluctance to believe what was happening but I wished she believed in Jesse a little more. She does the mature thing eventually and the book has a satifying conclusion. Looking forward to reading about Jessa, Maggie, Brody and Zane to mention a few

I really liked this book, although I do wish it was a teensy bit longer. The characters are easy to become invested in, right from the first chapter. The author gives you just enough to get hooked, and interested in what happened to make the characters the way they are. She also does a fantastic job of making "playboy rock stars" really relatable, and easy to root for them to get their happy endings. I can't wait to see the next one so I can see what happens!
i absolutely LOVED this book. Rockstars are my favorite kind of story and this was one of the best I’ve read. Jaine Diamond is new to me but not for long! I’m going to gobble up everything I can find by her! Her books are amazing because her stories seem so real. Sure the rockstars are glamorous and maybe they can be jerks sometimes (which by the way Jesse will admit!) but then you get to meet down to earth Katie who bakes when she’s nervous, loves to skateboard and wait until you read about the diamond bra!! Hilarious! These characters are deep and well-developed. The secondary characters are just as interesting and I can’t wait for their stories. Jesse and Katie’s story starts slowly. The sexual tension begins immediately but builds at an excruciatingly slow pace for both characters and they feel ALL the tension (and so do we as the readers!) Love it!! Will they ever get to an HEA? Sometimes I doubt it, but you need to read the book!
I've never read a book by this author, but I will from now on! This books sucks you in! Jesse is smoking hot rock star who hires Katie for his new video! The steam up the sheets all for the new video but Jesse can't get her off his mind! Katie has gone from non existent to being recognized by thousand who have seen the number one new music video. How her life changes in an instant with a job offer from Jesse Mayes! I can't wait to read the next book!
I liked this one -- a lot. You can really feel the chemistry between the two characters, the author is good at writing that and some steamy scenes. Their chemistry and Jesse's sex appeal is off the charts, while Katie's sexy, girl-next-door vibe is alluring as well. However, I do feel like there were times there was too much "action", and not enough talking. Also, the rock and roll lifestyle was a little much for me, but at the same time, what else can you expect? All in all, this was a book that was hard to put down, and I hope the author continues writing stories for the guys in the band.
Jesse meets Katie he decides he wants her in his video. They did the video and they had a lot of chemistry. Jesse decides he wants Katie to come on tour with him because the fans reaction to them was overwhelming and he wanted that to carry over into the tour. They are very attracted to each other and a lot of fore play went on. It took a very long time for Katie and Jesse to have sex but getting to that point was very erotic. Jesse was a guy that didn't talk about his feelings so Katie had no idea if her fake boyfriend had ant feelings for her. I really enjoyed this book. Cannot wait for Jesse's story.
I just finished this book for the second time, and I usually don't re-read romances. I like this book because it has the perfect balance between a great story, interesting characters, and steamy love scenes. The conflict between the characters is real and not forced (no stupid fights), unlike so many romance books out there. If you like hot, steamy novels with well developed characters and a good storyline, you will like this book. I also loved the playlist suggestion at the end and listen to it often.
