I had heard this book mentioned on the radio and decided to pick it up just before Good Friday. This year I had the opportunity to spend some "quality" time in Church on Good Friday and spent most of that time reading this little commentary and meditiating on the seven last words of our Lord. It was a great help and a wonderful way to get a deeper sense of Jesus passion and death. Highly recommend for use at any time but especially during Lent, particularly around Good Friday.
I guess I thought this was going to be a neat book...somehow it is just not deep enough to really cause some different type of thinking....pretty basic.
A perfect meditation for each day of Holy Week. I have shared it with many friends.
